PolishUp by AIESEC Sri Lanka to Empower the Next Generation of Professionals

AIESEC Sri Lanka, in collaboration with AIESEC in University of Kelaniya, is set to host PolishUp, a national one-day professional development workshop designed to equip young individuals with the confidence, etiquette, and essential skills required to navigate modern professional and social environments. This national-level initiative aims to empower youth by bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world professional expectations.

PolishUp is designed as a comprehensive professional development experience featuring expert-led sessions focused on personal grooming, professional dressing etiquette, dining etiquette, leadership development, communication skills, and personal branding. These sessions are aimed at providing participants with the essential skills required to present themselves effectively and thrive in both professional and social settings. The workshop will also feature an engaging panel discussion and an interactive question-and-answer segment, ensuring a meaningful and impactful learning experience through direct engagement with experienced professionals.

The event is expected to host over 300 participants from across Sri Lanka, primarily after A/L students, undergraduates and graduates who are eager to enhance their professional readiness and build a strong personal presence. Scheduled to take place on the 24th of January 2026 in Colombo, the physical workshop aims to empower emerging talent with practical knowledge, refined confidence, and hands-on exposure to professional standards. Beyond individual development, PolishUp also serves as a platform that connects youth with organizations and professionals committed to nurturing future leaders and supporting career readiness.

Registrations for PolishUp are now open, offering young individuals a valuable opportunity to invest in their personal and professional growth while gaining practical exposure to real-world professional standards. Interested participants are encouraged to secure their slots early by registering through the official registration link provided below and take a confident step toward shaping their professional future through this impactful national-level initiative.
