HCI Shines as “Best School in the English Category” at ISAC – Sandeshaya 2025

The broadcasting unit of Ananda College proudly hosted the Inter-Schools
Announcing Championship (ISAC) – Sandeshaya 2025, a prestigious platform that
brought together the finest young announcers and commentators from across the
nation.


This year’s competition was marked by exceptional talent, creativity, and
professionalism, with Horizon College International (HCI) shining brightly among the
participants.


Remarkable Achievements:
 1 st Place in Intermediate Announcing – Binuthi Kuruppu
 2 nd Place in Senior Announcing – Methumli Gunaratne
 3 rd Place in Junior Announcing – Lakindu Abhises
 3 rd Place in the Open Category for Sports Commentary – Indeev Adikari


Crowning these individual successes, HCI was honored with the Overall Award for
the Best School in the English Category, reflecting the school’s dedication to
fostering communication skills and the supportive environment that encourages
excellence.


The ISAC – Sandeshaya 2025 not only highlighted the skills of young announcers but
also uplifted their confidence as future leaders. The HCI extends heartfelt
