UCL Launches the Monash Future Series, Connecting Sri Lankan Students with Global Education Opportunities from 20th July, 2026

Universal College Lanka (UCL) is proud to launch the Monash Future Series, a two-part international engagement initiative that brings academics and university representatives from Monash University Malaysia and Monash University Australia directly to Sri Lanka.

Taking place on 20 July and 12 August 2026, the series reflects the strength of UCL’s long-standing partnership with Monash College and its ongoing commitment to developing globally ready graduates through international exposure and meaningful engagement. More than an information session, the Monash Future Series has been designed to give prospective students and parents the opportunity to experience university learning, meet Monash academics, explore global study pathways, and gain first-hand insights into studying at one of the world’s leading universities.

The first event on 20 July will feature senior academics from Monash University Malaysia representing the Schools of Business, Computing, Engineering and Science, alongside a specialist Engineering recruiter from Monash University Australia. Students will participate in interactive taster classes, meet faculty members, and learn about studying and living in Malaysia.

The second event on 12 August will focus on Monash University Australia, where prospective students can engage with faculty recruiters and admissions specialists, while also meeting representatives from Monash University Malaysiato explore the range of study options available across the Monash network.

Since 2015, UCL has partnered with Monash College to provide Sri Lankan students with a seamless pathway to Monash University a Global Top 50 University.

The Monash Future Series is another example of how UCL extends learning beyond the classroom. By creating opportunities for students to interact directly with international academics and university representatives, UCL empowers students to make informed decisions about their education while building the confidence, global outlook and industry awareness needed to succeed in an increasingly interconnected world. As Sri Lanka’s exclusive Monash College partner, UCL remains committed to creating international learning experiences that prepare students not only to earn globally recognised qualifications, but also to become graduates who are ready to lead, innovate and make an impact anywhere in the world.
