
Members of the Inter University Student Force Board recently convened at the Ministry of Education in Jaffna to discuss the challenges faced by graduates in the education sector.
The meeting was held in the presence of Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Education Madhura Seneviratne and Additional Secretary of Ministry of Education Mr. Amal Edirisuriya.
The discussion focused on addressing the recruitment process of graduates into the teaching service and issues related to education degrees offered by state universities and higher education institutions. Participants also put forward proposals and recommendations for further interventions to address these concerns.
Among the notable representatives of the university was Mr. Sasindu Perera, the convener of the Inter University Student Power Board who took part in the dialogue alongside other university members.
