TIDAC 2025 : Bridging the Gap: Engineering, Design & Society – NSBM Green University

The Faculty of Engineering at NSBM Green University is proud to host the Technology Innovations and Digitalization Accompanying Creativity (TIDAC) Research Conference 2025, a premier academic gathering that celebrates the synergy between engineering, design, and the evolving digital landscape on Thursday, 13th November 2025 from 9:00 a.m. onwards at NSBM Green University, Homagama.

This year’s theme, “Bridging the Gap: Engineering, Design & Society,” invites scholars, professionals, and students across the nation to explore how technological innovation and creative design converge to address societal challenges and shape a more sustainable, inclusive future.

Distinguished Speakers

  • Keynote Speaker: Dr. Har Amrit Singh Sandhu, President of ASCE India Section & Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Punjab Engineering College, India.

Dr. Sandhu will share insights on the transformative role of civil engineering in modern infrastructure and its impact on community resilience and development.

  • Guest Speaker: Archt. Prof. Harsha Munasinghe, School of Architectural Studies, George Brown College, Toronto, Canada.

Prof. Munasinghe will delve into the intersection of architecture, urban design, and cultural identity in the age of digital innovation.
