In a momentous celebration of two decades of empowering Sri Lanka’s youth, Future Minds 2025 Sponsor Launch and 20-Year Celebration was held in grandeur on 29th May at Hilton Residencies, Colombo. This landmark event brought together the country’s leading higher educational and commercial sponsors to commemorate the journey of Future Minds, Sri Lanka’s number one higher education and career guidance exhibition.
The evening commenced with the formal signing of partnership agreements between Future Minds and its official sponsors, symbolizing the trusted relationships that continue to shape the future of education in the country. A detailed media briefing followed, outlining the roadmap for the 2025 edition and showcasing the growing momentum behind the event series.
The Galle Edition, held earlier in January, set the tone for this milestone year. Now, anticipation builds for the upcoming Colombo Exhibition, taking place from 6th, 7th & 8th June at BMICH, and the Kandy Exhibition on 14th and 15th June at Kandy City Centre (KCC).

The organizing team shared insights into a strategically designed marketing campaign, launched across digital, print, and electronic media under a unified thematic approach. The message: “No One Left Behind”, remains the core philosophy, ensuring access, awareness, and opportunity for every aspiring student.
The career guidance segment of Future Minds 2025 was also elaborated on, highlighting a robust framework of psychological counselling and professional guidance services offered free of charge to all student visitors. These sessions aim to guide students beyond academics, helping them align their strengths and aspirations with the right educational pathways.
In his address, Future Minds 2025 Chairman, Ovin Bimsara, reflected on the legacy and impact of the exhibition:
“For two decades, Future Minds has been more than an exhibition. it has been a national knowledge hub, bridging students, educators, and financial institutions, career counsellors to make the dream of higher education a reality for thousands across Sri Lanka.”
The evening also featured a special 20-year milestone video, capturing key achievements and the evolution of the exhibition since its humble beginnings in 2005. Former Chairmen were invited on stage to join in cutting a ceremonial cake, symbolizing the continuity of vision and leadership that has guided Future Minds over the years.
The formalities concluded with the handover of sponsor cheques, a vote of thanks, and a networking cocktail, allowing sponsors and stakeholders to connect in celebration of a shared mission.
