Validity period of school shoes voucher extended

The Ministry of Education has taken steps to extend the validity period of footwear gift vouchers for school students.

Accordingly, although the validity period of those gift vouchers was scheduled to end on Sunday (15 Feb), the Ministry announced that it has been extended until 28 February.

In the year 2026, the Ministry of Education took steps to provide footwear gift vouchers worth Rs. 3000 to selected school students, lay and ordained students of Pirivenas, and female novices.
