Ilma International Girls’ School’s Rising Stars Reach Finals at TISSL Netball Tournament 2025

Ilma International Girls’ School (IIGS) proudly secured the 1st Runners-Up position at the Under-14 International Schools (TISSL) Netball Tournament 2025, held on May 29th at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium. Hosted by Asian International School, the tournament saw spirited participation from top international schools across Sri Lanka.

The U14 team of IIGS displayed exceptional skills and teamwork throughout the competition, earning their place in the finals after a series of hard-fought matches. In a thrilling final showdown, they faced Gateway College Colombo, finishing as worthy runners-up in an intense and closely contested game.

A special highlight was the outstanding performance of M. R. Fathima Shalifa, who was recognized as the Best Center Court Player of the tournament, a testament to her agility, precision, and leadership on the court.

Ilma International Girls’ School celebrates this proud moment and remains inspired to reach even greater heights in future tournaments.
