ISAC 2026 HCI Shines Bright

Horizon College International (HCI) proudly celebrated a remarkable achievement at the
International Schools Athletic Championships (ISAC) 2026, securing 6 th place overall among 22
international schools with an impressive 239 points at the recently held tournament in February.
This milestone reflects the dedication, talent, and spirit of our young athletes who brought glory to
the school on the grand stage.


Golden Triumphs
Our athletes clinched six gold medals, with two new meet records:
 Vinudi Abeyrathne – U14 Girls 100m (New Meet Record)
 Senal Wickramasinghe – U16 Boys 800m (New Meet Record)
 Chenaya Jayawardena – U12 Girls High Jump
 Ahas Mallawa – U14 Boys 80m
 Lesandu Liyanage – U18 Boys Shot Put
 U16 Boys 4×400m Relay – Nisabha Perera, Viruna Perera, Manu Abeyrathne, Senal
Wickramasinghe


Silver Successes
Adding to the tally, our athletes secured three silver medals:

 Ahas Mallawa – U14 Boys 100m
 Tinuka Bandara – U18 Boys 1500m

The podium finishes continued with five bronze medals:
