CMA Sri Lanka Honours University of Ruhuna’s Accounting Topper with Gold Medal and Full Scholarship

In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Institute of Certified
Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA Sri Lanka) and the University of Ruhuna, CMA Sri
Lanka sponsors the Gold Medal for the most outstanding student of the Degree of Business
Administration Honours in Accounting, Faculty of Management and Finance, University of
Ruhuna Convocation 2025.


For the 2025 academic year, the Gold Medal was awarded to Ms Ismalage Nimesha Upamali
Rajapaksha, in recognition of her exceptional academic performance and outstanding
achievement in the Degree of Business Administration Honours in Accounting.
As part of this recognition and in line with CMA’s commitment to nurturing future accounting
professionals, the Gold Medal recipient is granted a full scholarship to pursue the CMA
professional qualification. This initiative reflects CMA Sri Lanka’s continued dedication to
promoting academic excellence and developing competent management accounting
professionals for the nation.


CMA Sri Lanka congratulates Ms Rajapaksha on her outstanding accomplishment and wishes
her continued success in her academic and professional journey.
