
Subhashini Indika Kumari Liyanage has been appointed Commissioner General of Examinations, effective immediately. She previously served as an Examinations Commissioner at the Department of Examinations.
The appointment follows the conclusion of H.J.M.C.A. Jayasundara’s term as Commissioner General on May 6, 2025.
The Cabinet of Ministers approved the appointment based on a proposal by the Prime Minister, who also serves as Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education. Liyanage is a Special Grade Officer in the Sri Lanka Education Administrative Service.
