A group of teachers are staging a sit-in near the Presidential Secretariat today, Ada Derana reported.
The teachers say they will remain on the pavement opposite the Secretariat until President Anura Kumara Dissanayake addresses their request to admit their children to the schools where they are employed.
They arrived at the Secretariat this afternoon following a march organized together with their children.
