Grade 5 scholarship exam : Ban on tuition & promotions from midnight


Tuition classes, seminars, and workshops related to the 2024 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination are banned from midnight today (Sept. 11) until the exam concludes.

Commissioner General of Examinations Amith Jayasundara said that the printing and distribution of model question papers for the exam will also be prohibited.

Furthermore, it is strictly forbidden to publish or distribute posters, banners, handouts, or promotions through electronic, print, or social media that claim to offer exam questions or similar content.

The 2024 Grade 05 Scholarship Examination will be held on 15 September 2024 from 09.30 am to 12.15 pm at 2,649 nationwide examination centres.

Any person, institution, or group violating these rules can be reported to the nearest police station, police headquarters, or the Examination Department.
