Global Expansia 1.0, organized by AIESEC in University of Kelaniya, was held on the 28th of September at the Mahaweli Center in Colombo. This semi-virtual event became a remarkable opportunity for young individuals between the ages of 18 to 30 years to gain valuable insights about the concept of personal branding and information about the Global Volunteering, Internships, and Teaching opportunities provided by AIESEC.
This amazing venture garnered the participation of 50 to 100 delegates who were young learners engaging in their higher studies and just about to take their next leap into the corporate world.
The event’s highlight was the brilliant lineup of experts who shared their expertise and experiences on Personal Branding.
Mr. Dilupa Pathirana, CEO of Barista Sri Lanka, provided an informative session on building a professional brand that stands out. Meanwhile Mr. Dulinda Perera, CEO of Ikon Group of Companies, shared insights by bridging the field of Digital Marketing with Personal Branding for one’s professional growth. Mr Anderson Haran Public Speaking Coach and Comedian filled the audience with giggles in a session by showcasing the importance of Public Speaking for Personal Branding.
Engaging the audience with an interactive and humorous style, Mr. Anderson Haran, a public speaking coach and comedian, showed how to add a creative twist and laughter to public speaking for brand enhancement.
The event also graced the persuasive experience sharing sessions of the past exchange participants who had embarked on a Volunteering, Talent, and Internship opportunity provided by AIESEC.
