ESOFT Ventures launches Alpha Fund to back Sri Lanka’s next generation of founders.

ESOFT Ventures, a new initiative by ESOFT UNI, has launched Alpha Fund — a $250K early-stage fund backing daring, ambitious founders building for global markets.

The fund invests at the earliest stages — pre-seed and seed — where conviction matters more than metrics. Beyond capital, every startup backed by Alpha Fund is paired with a dedicated Startup Advisor providing hands-on go-to-market support, consulting, and access to specialised networks.

With Alpha Fund, ESOFT Ventures aims to prove that world-class companies can be built from Sri Lanka — and to give the country’s most ambitious founders the capital, partnership, and support to get there.

Applications close Aug 31, 2026.
