ESOFT Launches ESU Kandy to Transform Higher Education in Sri Lanka’s Hill Capital

ESOFT, a prominent higher education institution in Sri Lanka, proudly announces the official opening of ESU Kandy, its independent arm dedicated to delivering world-class undergraduate and postgraduate education in the hill capital. This expansion marks a strategic evolution of ESOFT, further diversifying its university-level academic programmes and reinforcing its commitment to academic excellence and global relevance. Applications for the June 2025 intake are now open, giving a larger cross-section of Sri Lankan students access to internationally accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Kandy, eliminating the cost and inconvenience of relocating to Colombo.

ESU Kandy’s new facility stands as the largest city university in the hill capital,offering a wide range of faculties, including Art and Design, Life Science, Computing, Engineering, Business and Law, as well as Languages, Education, and Sociology. Its comprehensive curriculaspan all academic levelsfrom foundation to undergraduate degrees topostgraduate studies, and doctoral programmes,ensuring that students can find the right pathway to suit their ambitions and career goals at ESU.Through its affiliations with Kingston University London and London Metropolitan University, ESU Kandy grants students access to prestigious, internationally recognised qualifications, joint research opportunities, and multiple academic pathways.
