CIPM to Host Research Writing Workshop for Young Scholars

Writing a thesis or dissertation is one of the most challenging and most important academic journeys a student will ever take. From struggling with structuring chapters to understanding ethical publishing standards, many undergraduates and postgraduate students find themselves overwhelmed at critical stages of their research process.

Addressing this growing need, the CIPM Applied Research Centre is set to conduct a specialised academic workshop titled “Master the Art of Scholarly Publishing” on 25th January 2026, offering young researchers an opportunity to strengthen their academic writing and publishing skills under expert guidance.

The workshop is designed to provide participants with practical, step-by-step techniques essential for producing high-quality academic work. Participants will be guided through key areas such as:

  • Structuring a thesis and dissertation effectively
  • Academic writing standards and clarity
  • Avoiding plagiarism and understanding research ethics
  • Preparing manuscripts for journals
  • Understanding the scholarly publishing process

This programme is especially beneficial for undergraduates, MBA and PhD students, and early-career researchers who wish to build confidence in their research writing and prepare their work for publication in recognised academic platforms.

Date: 25th January 2026
Time: 9.00 AM – 12.00 PM
Organised by: CIPM Applied Research Centre
Certificates: Provided to all participants
Seats: Limited

With competition in academia becoming increasingly rigorous, workshops like this play a vital role in equipping students with essential scholarly skills that go beyond classroom learning.

Interested participants are encouraged to register early as seats are limited.
