
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been virtually signed between the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) and the South Asia Sustainability and Security Research Institute (SASSRI) to strengthen academic research and strategic cooperation between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Speaking at the ceremony,Pakistan High Commissioner in Colombo Major General (Rtd) Dr. Nayyar Naseer highlighted the deep rooted historical and diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Sri Lanka during the virtual signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between two leading research centers.
The agreement was executed between the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) and the South Asia Sustainability and Security Research Institute (SASSRI) on Monday. Speaking at the event, the Pakistani envoy emphasized that institutional partnerships between major research centers play a pivotal role in tackling contemporary regional challenges through intellectual discourse and research driven policy input.
The tie up between ISSI and SASSRI is set to deepen academic research and strategic cooperation between both nations. (Eduwire)
