A/L exam further postponed

The 2024 GCE Advanced Level Examination has been postponed to December due to the adverse weather conditions experienced in Sri Lanka.

The Commissioner General of Examinations Amith Jayasundara said that the examination has been postponed until 03 December 2024.

Amith Jayasundara further said that the examination will recommence on 04 December 2024.

The 2024 GCE Advanced Level Examination commenced on 25 November but was suspended for three days from 27 November due to adverse weather conditions across the nation.

The government yesterday announced that a decision on the recommencement of the examination will be taken after assessing the weather and disaster-stricken areas after 29 November.
