Applications Open for Grade 6 Admissions – S. Thomas College, Mount Lavinia (2026)

S. Thomas College, Mount Lavinia has officially opened applications for Grade 6 (Sinhala, English and Tamil Mediums) for the year 2026. Applications will be accepted online from 8th to 21st September 2025 and the the school has announced that only a limited number of vacancies are available.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be born between 1st February 2015 and 31st January 2016.

  • All eligible students may apply; however, priority will be given to candidates who achieve high marks at the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination 2025.

  • Consideration will also be given to students with achievements in sports and extra-curricular activities.

Application Process

  • Applications must be submitted online

  • An application fee of Rs. 1,500 (non-refundable) is required.

  • No printed application forms will be sent or accepted by post.

  • Submitting an application does not guarantee admission.

Parents must first verify their email address which will then be used for all communication and login access to the application form.

Some important details for parents are that make sure you use a valid personal email during the registration as all future updates will be communicated electronically. It is best to keep all the records of any achievements in academics, sports and extracurricular activities to support your child’s application and you must submit the applications before the deadline which is 21st September 2025 because late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
