CID Complaint Over A/L Paper Leak Claims

The Department of Examinations has lodged a complaint with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to investigate reports claiming that the Economics question paper of this year’s G.C.E. Advanced Level examination was leaked prior to the exam.

Ada Derana reported the Examinations Department stated that the complaint was made last week by the Deputy Commissioner of Examinations.

In recent days, various reports had circulated on social media alleging that the A/L Economics question paper had been leaked. However, following an internal inquiry, the Department said no concrete evidence had been found to confirm that such an incident had occurred.

Nevertheless, the Department noted that a formal complaint was submitted to the CID to ensure a proper investigation into the matter.
