Applications Open for Netaji Subhas–ICAR International Fellowship (NS-ICARIF) 2025–26

The Netaji Subhas – ICAR International Fellowship (NS-ICARIF) invites applications from eligible candidates for the academic year 2025–26. This prestigious fellowship is aimed at supporting scholars pursuing a doctoral degree in Agriculture and allied sciences at top Indian Agricultural Universities.

The NS-ICARIF fellowship is awarded for a duration of three years, enabling scholars to undertake advanced research and academic work in their chosen field.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in Agriculture or Allied Sciences with:

  • An Overall Grade Point Average (OGPA) of 6.60 out of 10.00, or

  • 65% marks or an equivalent score.

  • Candidates must be 35 years of age or younger on the closing date for applications. Selection will be based on an evaluation score and interaction performance.

The fellowship offers substantial financial assistance to selected scholars, including :

  • Monthly Fellowship : INR 40,000 or more per month

  • Contingency Grant : INR 25,000 per year

  • Travel Support : To-and-fro air ticket
