Building the Future of Engineering Excellence – NSBM Green University

In celebration of NSBM’s 9th Anniversary, the university marked a landmark achievement with the Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony for the proposed Civil Engineering Laboratories Complex of the Faculty of Engineering.

The ceremony was graced by Vice Chancellor Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, who laid the foundation stone in the presence of Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Prof. J. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Deans of the faculties, Heads of departments, members of the academic and non-academic staff and the student community.

The new three-storey facility will house six state-of-the-art Civil Engineering laboratories, alongside modern learning and demonstration spaces and academic offices, reflecting NSBM’s continued commitment to academic excellence and infrastructure development.

This milestone represents a historic step forward in shaping the future of engineering education at NSBM Green University.
