Imperial College of Business Studies (ICBS) successfully hosted its Freshers’ Eve on March 23rd, at the Renuka City Hotel, marking a grand welcome for the new intake of students enrolled in March 2024. The event served as an inaugural celebration for students embarking on various academic journeys in programs such as the SQA Higher National Diploma (HND), BA (Hons) in International Business & Finance, and BSc (Hons) in Business Management Degree with specializations in International Business, Marketing Management and Human Resource Management.
The Freshers’ Eve was not just a ceremonial welcome but also an informative session where students received valuable insights into their respective academic programmes. ICBS Dean along with the academic administration team provided detailed briefings on academic instructions, ensuring students are well-prepared to navigate their university life at ICBS with confidence and clarity.
Understanding the diverse needs of its student community, ICBS management thoughtfully arranged for the breaking of the fast, catering to the Muslim students, alongside offering refreshments for all attendees. This inclusive gesture underscored the college’s commitment to fostering a supportive and welcoming environment for every student.
The evening was further enriched with a variety of fun activities organized by the ICBS Student Council. These activities were designed not only to entertain but also to facilitate interactions among the freshers and their seniors. Such initiatives play a crucial role in building a cohesive student community, encouraging networking and the forging of lasting friendships.
This Freshers’ Eve signifies the beginning of an exciting academic voyage for students at ICBS, marked by comprehensive educational guidance, inclusivity, and a plethora of opportunities for personal growth and professional development.
