Nearly 52,000 students pass 2025 Grade 05 Exam

The Department of Examinations says a total of 51,969 (17.11%) have passed the cut-off marks of the 2025 Grade 05 Scholarship Examination.  The Exam Department said the cut-off marks were 140 for the Sinhala Medium and 134 for the Tamil Medium. The highest mark of 198 in the Scholarship examination is in the Sinhala Medium, Nearly 52,000 students pass 2025 Grade 05 Exam

241 top A/L performers awarded Rs. 100,000 each

A ceremony to honour the top performers in the 2023/2024 G.C.E. Advanced Level examinations at the district level, sponsored by the President’s Fund, was held under the aegis of Speaker of Parliament Jagath Wickremaratne, at the Anuradhapura Central College recently (31 Aug).  During the ceremony, 241 students from the Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa districts who secured 241 top A/L performers awarded Rs. 100,000 each
