24 institutions to print state school textbooks

Cabinet approval has been granted for 24 institutions to print school textbooks for selected grades that will be distributed free of charge in 2025.  In April this year, Cabinet approval was granted to print 71 categories of school textbooks out of a total of 317 from the State Printing Corporation for next year.  According to 24 institutions to print state school textbooks

The second phase of the first term of government schools in Sri Lanka ends today, (May 03).  The Department of Examinations said that during this period, the GCE Ordinary Level Examination (O/Level) will take place from May 6th to 15th. Japan donates 500 bicycles for SL school children

ChildFund Japan, a child-focused development organization, has provided 500 bicycles under a grant to encourage daily school attendance of children in remote areas of Sri Lanka.
